Love these guys! They are professionals who take pride in their work and care for their customers. Such a rarity these days! “
We purchased our home in March 2015. It was built in the mid 60’s and we had several ideas of what we thought could be done to renovate the house. With the Gardiner Bros assistance, we prioritized these and decided that the best place to start was the pergola.
The transformation of the new pergola has been amazing. It has gone from a 5m x 5m enclosed paved area with an alsonite roof to a magnificent 7.5m x 7.5m skillion roof with a spotted gum deck, two large spotted gum pillars and lined roof. We have in effect created another “room” and now have all of our meals and entertain on the deck.
The whole experience has been seamless and low stress. As the Gardiner Bros provide a “one stop shop” of electrical, plumbing and carpentry, they were able to communicate and coordinate between each other without calling on new contractors.
The Gardiner Bros team are clearly highly skilled and know their work. On several occasions they provided ideas that made the final result so much better. For example, instead of replacing the existing pergola posts, a metal beam was placed on one side to eliminate all posts on that side to open the deck right up. The finely milled spotted gum timber deck and posts raises the overall high quality look and lifespan of the timber.
We are very happy with the Gardiner Bros and would recommend them for your next major build or renovation.”
